Planning & Design...Site Analysis (Step 2)

Site Analysis
A thorough site analysis will be done and a Client Site Analysis Questionnaire conducted to gather critical landscape considerations and to acquire your landscape needs and wants.

The condition, placement and potential movement of existing plant material and hardscape elements will be assessed to maximize any previous investment. In addition, natural factors, views, noise levels, utility placement, easements/setback lines and primary architectural features of the house will be noted.

Land form (slope or land elevation changes), soil characteristics, existence of micro-climates and evidence of predators such as deer will be noted and are key factors in determining the selection and placement of plant material.

The Design Process, Step by Step:

1. Base Map
2. Site Analysis
3. Conceptual Design
4. Plant Selection
5. Final Design
