These homeowners did a wonderful job updating the interior of their new home and renovated the front porch as well. Next was their front landscape which clearly needed a complete do-over.

The walkway was too close to the front of the home and offered an awkward transition off of the driveway. Their existing plantings were sparse and out-of date. These homeowners desired an informal, comfortable landscape with plenty of perennials for color.

Stone Associates Landscape Design & Consulting designed their front landscape in fitting with the colors and style of their home using deer resistant plant material.

The Rosa/Pueblo Flagstone Walkway was dry-laid providing a pleasing, meandering pathway off of the driveway and adding the illusion of further distance. A garden seat and opposing birdbath provides a place to sit and enjoy the garden. The parking area was screened by assorted spruces to further improve curb appeal. In addition, a drainage area was hidden using a moisture loving Weeping Willow.

Note: After pictures were taken only a few months after the installation. In a few years the landscape will be filled in beautifully with very little maintenance.
